Welcome to fourth grade! The first nine weeks is an exciting period of discovery for both students and teachers. In ELA students will prepare and take the DRA2 to determine strengths and weaknesses in reading. They will also be reviewing sentences, spelling patterns, and handwriting formations. Map skills, regions, and Native Americans comprise the social studies curriculum. In math, students will begin with bar graphs and place value concepts. Science will be electric this nine weeks because the electric circuits kits will be our main focus. We look forward to a great year of learning and fun!
