BRE Title I Parent Involvement Policy

English
The term parental involvement is defined by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 as the participation of parents in regular, two-way, and meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities. We believe the involvement of parents and community members is critical to the success of a student’s education. Research supports this belief indicating that students who are academically successful tend to receive consistent support from the adults in their home. Blue Ridge Elementary is committed to the goal of providing quality education to all students. The campus offers additional academic assistance to students with needs after school and on some Saturdays. Blue Ridge will continue to establish partnerships with parents and with the community. We will build the school’s and the parents’ capacity for involvement by providing two way communication. Blue Ridge Elementary will make every effort to include parents in the development, evaluation and revision of the Title I Program and the Parent Involvement Guidelines. The goal of our parent involvement program is student success. To view the entore Title I Parent Involvement Policy for Blue Ridge (English & Spanish) click on the Related Document link.
