Change of Address
Did you move within the Clements HS attendance zone?

If you move, the postal service will return all school correspondence to Clements High School. You must establish your new residence with the Registrar's Office by providing a lease or deed, current utility bill and a drivers license with the new address. If mail is returned and residency is not re-established, the student will be withdrawn from all classes until residency is verified.
 
Did you move to an address within Fort Bend ISD?
 
If you move, the postal service will return all school correspondence to Clements High School. If you move during the regular school year, you may request to remain at Clements HS for the remainder of the school year by applying for an intra-district transfer. Details regarding this form are available at the Registrar's Office. If mail is returned and residency is not re-established, the student will be withdrawn from all classes until residency is verified.

If you move out of the Fort Bend ISD during the regular school year, please consult your student's assistant principal to begin the withdrawal process. If mail is returned and residency is not re-established, the student will be withdrawn from all classes until residency is verified.

GPA and Class Ranking
How is my grade point average (GPA) calculated?
 
GPA is calculated on a 6 point scale in Fort Bend ISD

GPA's to be calculated on any scale other than the district scale are the responsibility of the student. Forms for transcripts and calculating GPA are available in the Registrar's Office.
 
Who gets a GPA/class rank?
 
Class rank is calculated for students after the completion of their Sophomore year, and is available in mid-September of their Junior year.
Class rank for Juniors and Seniors is updated and distributed through the Registrar's Office in mid-September and mid-February of each school year
Final class rank for Seniors is established in mid-April, and uses the average of the 4th and 5th six weeks grades for the last semester average.

How do I get my GPA/class rank?

Class rank is available from the Registrar before school (or before first class for Seniors). Students will not be allowed to leave classes to obtain class rank information.

Information for Incoming 9th Graders
Students successfully completing 8th grade at a Fort Bend Independent School District middle school and who reside in the Clements attendance zone have schedules and do not need to register. If you have changed attendance zones during the summer or attended a private middle school, you will need to register at your new school. Ninth grade students will not have a high school transcript until they have completed their freshman year. Ninth grade students will not have a GPA or class rank until they have completed their sophomore year. Verifications of Enrollment (VOE) for Driver Training are available at the front office counter (NOT the Registrar's Office). Students may sign-up for a VOE before school at the front office counter, and receive their certificate at the end of the school day at the front office counter.

Withdrawal Procedures
All withdrawals are initiated with approval of the student's assistant principal, and require the following information:
Reason for withdrawal School/Program receiving student Forwarding address of parent if moving out of district
Withdrawal from CHS requires the student to complete the following tasks:
Check-out of each class with a current grade and teacher signature Return all books to the textbook clerk Clear all library fines Get immunization records from the school nurse Check-out with bookkeeper, attendance clerk, and assistant principal
After completing withdrawal process, the student will receive the following information to take to their new campus:
Copy of completed withdrawal form Copy of attendance records Copy of immunization records Copy of current report card and/or transcript
