Prerequisite: Interview and approval by a
committee
Students learn leadership skills in goal-setting, communication, peer listening, group dynamics, project planning and implementation. Techniques and skills needed to provide programs to their peers that increase motivation, self-esteem, and student involvement are investigated. An application to join the class must be submitted in the spring.
