MIDDLE SCHOOL SEMESTER EXAM EXEMPTIONS FOR SPRING

•SIXTH GRADE EXEMPTIONS – English and Math exams only. Earn a grade of 80 or above in the applicable course. Must attend exempted class on test day to receive exemption. No removals to DAEP/JJAEP and no outstanding fees or fines. Students must meet the state 90% attendance requirement to be eligible for exemptions.
 
•SEVENTH GRADE EXEMPTIONS – English and Math exams only. Earn a grade of 80 or above in the applicable course. Must attend exempted class on test day to receive exemption. No removals to DAEP/JJAEP and no outstanding fees or fines. Students must meet the state 90% attendance requirement to be eligible for exemptions.
 
•EIGHTH GRADE EXEMPTIONS – English, Math, Science and Social Studies exams.
Earn a grade of 80 or above in the applicable course. Must attend exempted class on test day to receive exemption. No removals to DAEP/JJAEP and no outstanding fees or fines. Students must meet the state 90% attendance requirement to be eligible for exemptions.
 

NOTE: Students eligible for exemptions may take one or more exams to improve their semester average. This is optional and initiated by the student or parent.

Tutorial Schedule

You will find the enclosed tutorial schedule. All students are required to have a pass. Most tutorials start at 8:10. Parents or teachers can write a handwritten note for tutorials. Students may not be dropped off before 7:45 am.
 
We also have after school tutorials on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check with your child's teacher.
