School Report Card

HBMS experienced academic gains in several categories during the 2010-2011 school year. Simultaneous with these gains, the state accountability targets increased and a significant change in the rating process occurred. As a result, the HBMS state rating is currently Academically Acceptable. Although the school met AYP (Adequate yearly Progress) objectives for most of our student populations the campus did not meet the overall expected AYP during the 2010-2011 school year.

The HBMS staff remains a student-focused entity. We continue to identify and target students that require extensive support. We maintain our high expectations for all students and simply do whatever it takes to ensure success for all. We invite the community to join us in this endeavor by partnering with your child’s teachers or volunteering in our school.

Please review the attached information regarding our most current TEA School Report Card.
