The following documents are required to register your child:
 
Proof of residence to include deed or lease agreement
Current Utility Bill (water, electric or gas)
Birth Certificate (or equivalent)
Immunization Record
Social Security Card
Unexpired Drivers License of Parent or Guardian containing their FBISD address
Last Report Card/Withdrawal form from previous school (Grades 1-5)
Must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1st of current school year (Kindergarten)

February 8, 2012 Parent Teacher Conference
1:00-4:00

When a student is absent they must bring a note when they return to school. On a full sheet of paper, please include the date or dates of the absence, the child’s name, reason for the absence and the teacher’s name.
If the note is not received after two days of the absence, it automatically becomes an "unexcused absence." Repeated unexcused absences become a truancy issue. Please help avoid this by sending the note when your child returns. Thank you!

Science night was a BLAST this year! Everyone had so much fun with all the Pod experiments and the activities located throughout the school. We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and services to make Science Night a success! Special thanks go to the robotics team, Chef Tim, the outer space slide show operators, the meteorite and microscope helpers, the Crocodile Encounter employees, the science sign language teacher, the Fort Bend County Sheriff Dept., and the Redi Clinic, as well as all of our wonderful teachers at OCE! Hope to see you next January 10,2012 6:30-8:00pm for Science Night 2012!

Thanks for a wonderful turn out for OCE annual Spelling Bee, December 9, 2011. All of our Bluejays were amazing. Congratulations to Jacob Zoleta 1st place and Tristan Nigos 2nd place. We look forward to continued support as they represent OCE at the District spelling bee.

We had an amazing time at Math and Literacy night in November! All the teachers' door decorations got everyone excited about the book fair and exploring new horizons in Space! The storyteller, POD activities, and ventriloquist were also a huge hit. Thank you so much to all who participated. We hope to see you at our next fun event, Science Night, on January 10th 6:30-8:00.
