Registration dates have been announced for students entering Kindergarten in the 2012-2013 school year. Registration will begin on April 9, and exact times will be announced soon. Students must turn 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2012, to be eligible for Kindergarten. Registration packets may be picked up from the front office during regular business hours after April 2, but registrations will not be taken until April 9. Along with the registration forms, the documents needed are: birth certificate, social security card, current immunization record, current deed or lease (or mortgage statement or tax assessment bill), current gas, water or electric bill, and parent photo ID.

Congratulations to our new Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Bobbi Threatt! Mrs. Threatt is the Special Services team leader. When asked why she is a teacher, she says "....it's because she wants to make a difference." But in the end she says that teachers are really the "...lucky recipient." Our other fantastic finalists were Mrs. Pam Esmond, 1st grade Team Leader, and Mrs. Erika Rubin, 2nd grade Team Leader. We are very proud of our 3 finalists—congratulations to all of you!

Please be aware that the first two spots in our circle drive are reserved for the PTO Silent Auction "1st in Line" Winners. They were the high bidders at last year's carnival, and have paid for the right to be first in line. Maybe next year you can be first!

Parents - we need your help with regard to the cafeteria! Miss NeNe is shorthanded, and unfortunately cannot spend time discussing your child's account when they are trying to serve breakfast, or during lunches.
