Dear Titan Parents and Guardians,
We are so relieved that a missing Fort Bend ISD elementary student has been found, and we believe this is a good time to review important personal safety tips with our families.
Attached are some helpful safety rules that we encourage you to discuss with your children. Additionally, you can find important resources on child safety at:

Attendance Requirements
|
|
If your student has been absent for any reason, a note is required for the absence to be excused within 2 days of the student's return to school. All notes should be turned into the FRONT OFFICE. If a note is NOT received within 2 days, the absence will become UNEXCUSED. Notes can be e-mailed or faxed to the Attendance Office.

Student and Visitor Check In
|
|
If you will be visiting our campus, please provide the front office with your valid driver's license for scanning. You will be issued a visitor's badge, reflective of the area in our campus that you will be visiting.
If you are checking your student out of school for the day or for an appointment, you will also need to provide the front office with your valid identification and complete an Early Release Form.
If you are checking your student into school, please come to the front office. Your child will be issued a permission slip to enter his classroom.

VIPS: Social Security Numbers Now Required
|
|
All persons who want to volunteer at any FBISD campus must complete an on-line application. Paper applications are no longer being processed. If you do not have access to a computer or if you need assistance, you may apply on-line at any Fort Bend public library or in the FBISD Human Resources Office, Room 101, located in the Fort Bend ISD Administration Building - 16431 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas.
Volunteer criminal history applications are valid for one school year - - July 1st through June 30th. All volunteer applications become inactive on June 30th each year.
NOTE: You MUST reapply in order to be eligible to volunteer on the FBISD campuses.
The volunteer application now requires social security numbers. All potential volunteers are required to provide this information.
Please read the attached document if you would like to volunteer in any way in the FBISD schools in the upcoming year.

Address Changes
|
|
When changing your address you will need to submit the following documentation to our data entry facilitator, Ms. Loretta Miranda.
* A copy of your deed or lease, or mortgage bill
* Utility bill (gas, water, electric only)
BOTH items must be turned in, in order to make the address change.
