Announcements for May 21, 2012:
Buy your required summer reading books for Pre-AP ELA classes at the SMS book Sale! Monday, May 21st and Tuesday, May 22nd between 8:10-4:10 p.m. in the SMS Library.
For all NEW NJHS INDUCTEES, we will have a meeting Tuesday, May 22nd after school from 4:00-4:40 pm. in Coach Thelen's room. Please be on time. This is for NEW INDUCTEES ONLY.
This Monday and Tuesday there will be a yearbook autograph party and you MUST have a yearbook to attend!! The leftover yearbooks will be on sale for $45 starting tomorrow at lunch. They may sell out fast, so bring your money tomorrow!
Attention all 6th Graders-Please turn your shot records in to the clinic. Remember...No Shots, No Schedule.
Attention 8th grade tennis players:
If you will be attending Travis High School next fall, please see Coach Carter in room 308 to pick up The Travis Tiger Tryout packet. It has all the information you need about the Travis tennis program and dates for summer events.
8th graders, are you interested in going to college over the Summer? There are many opportunities available for you to experience college before you even get to high school. Stop by Coach Mac's room and visit the College Board for more information.
In honor of National Walking Day, SMS will start our very own walking club! We will meet weekly every Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. for some fun and fitness. See Nurse Ferguson or Coach Martinez to sign up. You must have a participant form signed by a parent to join!

Attention 8th grade students who will attend Austin High School:
Web Mastering is now available as another elective choice for 9th graders. If interested, you may log on to Family Access and make this change to your course requests. Web Mastering is a full year course that will teach you how to become an active contributor to the World Wide Web.
