INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICE IN ED. & TRAINING
(Grade 11-12)
Recommended Prerequisite: Human Growth & Development
 
This course provides students with background knowledge of child and adolescent development as well as principles of effective teaching and training practices. Students learn to plan and direct idividualized instruction, group activities, prepare instructional materials, develop materials for educational environments, assist with record keeping and learn about other responsibilities of teachers, trainers, paraprofessionals, or other education personnel. The students will start their professional portfolio.
