Scholarship Opportunities

Attached is an updated list of scholarship opportunities as of December 8, 2011 for students looking for some financial help after high school. Students can also access the document (updated weekly) on the THS website under counselors’ resources. The information is posted outside of the counseling office on the scholarship board. There are also printed packets available in the counseling office.

Textbook Information
|

“Students will be using class sets of textbooks this year in addition to having online access to their books. If you do not have access to a computer or are otherwise in need of a book, students must fill out the form found at the link below or pick up the form on campus. Forms must be completed with a parent signature and submitted to the box in the upstairs AP office for student books to be issued. If a student has an outstanding book fine, they will not be eligible to check out books.”

New Cafeteria Payment Procedures
|

The Child Nutrition Department would like to receive all payments to student’s account in the morning to allow the cafeteria manager the opportunity to have all money entered onto the student’s account prior to the beginning of the lunch service. The hours for High School are 6:45am to 7:30am

Travis PRO GRAD For the Class of 2012
|

Project Graduation has been a tradition at Travis High School since 2009. Pro Grad was originally started by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), with the purpose of providing a safe environment in an all night lock-in celebration for graduating seniors. Travis pro Grad will sponsor an all night, drug and alcohol free celebration to be held on the school campus the evening after graduation. The evening will include an assortment of refreshments, games, sports activities, entertainment and many, many prizes. Please plan to take an active role to help make this Pro Grad event a success filled with wonderful lasting memories for the Class of 2012. Senior parents and senior students, we need your support! Come find out about volunteer opportunities and how to earn “Tiger Bucks”. Join us for our scheduled monthly meetings at 7:00pm in the THS commons on the 2nd Monday of each month.
