Sartartia Middle School JAG Camp!

5th Grade Parents,
Mark your calendars for the 2012-2013 Sartartia Middle School 6th Grade JAG Camp for all incoming 6th graders! This fun event will take place on August 15, 2012.
We will be doing an alpha split as follows:
9 am – noon: Last names A-L
1 – 4 pm: Last names M-Z

We are so relieved that a missing Fort Bend ISD elementary student has been found, and we believe this is a good time to review important personal safety tips with our families.
Attached are some helpful safety rules that we encourage you to discuss with your children. Additionally, please see the attachment for more information on child safety and you can also find important resources at:

Dear Parent,
Below you will find a copy of the State of Texas 2010-11 School Report Card for Walker Station Elementary School. This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. It is to be sent to the parent or guardian of every child enrolled in the public schools. The report provides information concerning student performance as well as information concerning expenditures, average class size, and student/teacher ratios.
The information contained in the School Report Card is required by state law and is briefly described in the enclosed “2010-11 School Report Card Definitions.” The report for our school may or may not have all the information described, because the information presented depends on whether the school is an elementary, middle, or high school.
State law requires that the information be provided for the state, the district, the school, and a group of schools similar to our school. Where possible, the information must be reported by ethnicity and socio-economic status of the students and must include at least two years of results.

Information On Migrant Student Status
|

Additional Educational Services for Qualifying Migrant Students
If you have moved in the last 3 years for the purpose of obtaining or seeking agricultural or fishing related work (e.g., field work, canneries, lumbering, dairy work, meat processing), your student may qualify to receive additional educational services through the Migrant Program. If you are interested in learning more, please contact your school counselor to request a Family Survey.

Si usted o su familia se han mudado en los últimos 3 años con el propósito de obtener o buscar trabajo en el área de la agricultura, ganadería o pesca (Ej. trabajo en el campo, empacadoras, aserraderos, lácteos, procesamiento de productos del campo, o el rastro), sus hijos/as pueden calificar para recibir servicios educativos adicionales a través de los servicios del programa “Migrantes”. Please note that the FBISD student lunch prices have changes for the 2011-2012 school year. The new elementary student meal price is $2.00.
